About Me

Hi my name is Karlin Murray. I am 15 years of age, and a Year 10 student at Tawa College. As a student I take Digital Information Technology (DIT) as a subject at my school. This subject consists of many different topics and themes. Like Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign which are used to create graphics, logos, packaging etc... We also do HTML Coding using a site called NotePad++. Where we build and design our own websites, by using CSS (Cascading Style Sheets), jquery (js), and JavaScript. I am well organised and always ready to learn and create new things.

Software and Programming Skills

I think I have a whole range of skills based on what I have done in DIT over the past two years. My strenghts lie in the designing part of DIT, by using Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign to create my websites and advertising items. The reason why is because i enjoy it more and thats where I get most of my excellence grades from. My weaknesses I think, lie with the HTML, Algorithms and Programming side of DIT. I find it confusing because there is so much elements and their is so much to remember about them aswell.
